Claudio Yurdadön (they/he) is a Turkish-American artist and biostatistician based in Atlanta whose work explores the intersections of culture, identity, and gender. Through poetry, photography, and video, they reflect on how we relate to ourselves, others, and the natural world.
Their practice draws on themes of gender expression, cultural tension, and inner transformation—often using light, shadow, and repetition to echo the rhythms of thought and emotion. Grounded in mindfulness and ritual, their work becomes a kind of ritual site: a space for slowing down, looking inward, and engaging with deep-seated fears, inherited narratives, and possibilities for healing.
By weaving personal reflection with social critique, their work invites viewers into a space of self-discovery and gentle resistance—where the boundaries between self and other begin to blur.
